Summary ![]() |
|
For many years Party Poker was the market leader of online poker rooms. This all changed when Party Poker refused to accept American Players due to legislation brought in in the United States, and Party was swiftly overtaken by Pokerstars. Party poker however still retains a huge following and remains one of the biggest online poker rooms, often with over 60,000 players online at peak times. There are excellent tournaments such as the monthly Party million, and soft cash games especially at the lower levels. Party's recent software upgrade has brought it back into competition with Pokerstars and Full Tilt, with a more user friendly interface, and members being able to set up private tournaments. If Party move to accept US players again, you can expect Pokerstars to be looking over their shoulders in the not to distant future! |
