Bwin is another large european sportsbook with a poker room client using the Ongame network, also used by Hollywood poker. The network, which is the 5th largest in the world, together with Bwin's sportsbook player base guarantees a good amount of traffic on the tables.  The software is excellent and the graphics too are pretty slick. You'll find plenty of action on the Hold em tables, though Bwin does not offer cash game stakes above $50. They also offer a very generous bonus of $1000 to UK based players ($500 for other countries). overall, Bwin is an excellent dependable poker client, which offers good cash games, tournaments and promotions.

     Ongame is a large network and provides a reliable poker client. Early in its dvelopment, Ongame did experience a few bugs, but after upgrades in 2009, all the bugs have been ironed out. The bwin skin is very slick, sticking closly to the black and yellow colors that are found on the Bwin websites. The lobby is easy to navigate and you can quickly find tournaments, SNG's or cash games to suit you, with limits, pot size and %'s also displayed for easy table slection.  The table itself is uncluttered and visually very good, with all important actions within easy reach. They come with avatars but these can be turned off in the lobby under the preferance tab. They also offer player notes, hand histories, 4 color decks, and hand values.

      A big advantage that Bwin have with this software is though it is downloadable on both Windows and Mac software, you can also run the software directly through your browser without the need to install. (although to take advantage of the bonus, you will need to download the software to your computer).

    At the time of writing (peak) there were nearly 20,000 players at the tables. They have a great player base through the Ongame network, and together with new players coming over from their sportsbook, Bwin will never be short of players. As with most poker rooms, traffic is heaviest around the Hold em' tables, and as the site does not allow US players, tournaments and SNGs will fill up during european peak times. Off peak the action will dry up significantly. 

Bwin offer a good selection of tournaments with their biggest being the $220+15 buy-in $500k Guaranteed which is held every third Saturday. They also host a weekly $150K guaranteed tournament, with plenty of satillites if your bankroll cant afford the buy in. In addition you will find other guaranteed tournaments ranging from $5k to the $150k. A highly recommended event is the Euro-Daily, a guaranteed tournament of $10k with a $54 buy in.  For new players there are also daily freerolls and the "lucky dollar" where a dollar entry fee can earn you big money in a $500 Gtd prizepool.

As for promotions, Bwins concentrates on the big events and you will find many promotions in the build up to events such as the WSOP, WSOPE and the Aussie Milllions, with the main prizes being Packages to the live events.
